Most of all, I am AGAINST THE LOSS OF ANY LIFE..be it Christians, Jewish, Buddhists, Atheists, Hindus, Muslims, even the people who embrace Ayah Pin's The Sky Kingdom...(well, at least the latter most believe in "making love and not war"....shame on the rest of the so called righteous people with individual reasons to believe that they are the only ones who deserves to live then go to heaven when they die....with the exception of Atheists who make their life simpler by not believing in any of it all...)

I find it amazing that the narrators to this video can identify the metallic components in those rod looking things, not to mention being able to identify who's beating who in that shot, from that distance. It would be helpful if the footage has a time and date on it. Even Internet amateurs know about video editing...I also find it odd that the Israeli dispenses army climbing down the helicopter, after the extension of invitation made.

I'd just like to point out an interesting fact though, regarding the relationship of Hamas and Israel. the reason for the blockade was that Israel was afraid that Hamas would smuggle in weapons via these international aids. It's kind of hilarious though,that Israel does not recognize Hamas as a political body, since the the Mossads were the ones responsible in creating the very organization they brand "terrorists", not to mention Hamas gained power via the famous democratic process. I suggest we stop the hating and start the thinking. You know what would be the biggest blow to the AngloAmerican-Zionist Neocons responsible behind orchestrating these wars? It's when people like you and me walk out on our own ego that takes the form of Nationalism, Religion, Ideology or whatever disguise it has, and just refuse to engage in any violent activities. Kill the hatred instead. Of course that would put the army out of their jobs, but hey, I'm sure they wouldn't mind having any other job that gets them constantly laid and have home cook meals...I have a high degree of respect for the army, for their sacrifices they make. It's the authorities who toy with human lives that deserves punishment. War should be branded as an act of criminal.

Especially for the Muslims, who some may think killing is alright, there are verses that stresses on forgiveness and falling into war as a last resort. If Muslims are as smart as we claim to be, then naturally, war can be avoided. We should read the Quran and understand it's gist. Whilst there are people out there who make money out of toying with our ego and using religion as a tool to split the humankind, this can be deterred simply by understanding our own religion, and of course practicing it not as a genetically passed down phenomenon, but something we feel at our hearts and our minds to be true.

In Surah Al-An'am verse161, God said;

Say: "Come, I will rehearse what Allah hath (really) prohibited you from": join not anything as equal with Him; be good to your parents; kill not your children on a plea of want - We provide sustenance for you and for them - come not nigh to shameful deeds, whether open or secret; take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom. "

Al Maidah 45 :

"We ordained therein for them: "Life for life, eye for eye, nose for nose, ear for ear, tooth for tooth, and wounds equal for equal." But if anyone remits the retaliation by way of charity, it is an act of atonement for himself. And if any fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) wrong-doers."

I don't take sides in this war. I would feel equally sad if an innocent Jewish dies, as a consequence of injustice. I think it's high time for us to understand the gist of our religion. It's based on humanity, that's what makes us human. Any religion that goes against humanity, needs checking up. The Carpet Weavers

As I take a walk through the aging lane, there are moments when my mind succumbs to the idea that "Ignorance is Bliss". The discomfort of knowing mind boggling discoveries via reading sometimes can prove to be emotionally overwhelming.

I've been reading a book written by Robert Fisk, (an Independent journalist then writing for "The Times" and "The Independent"), titled " The Great War for Civilization; The Conquest Of The Middle East". (So okay, the book was written in the year of B.C of readers, but hey, I have the habit of buying books and reading them 2-3 years later...basically manipulating the 'better laid then never' phrasing....oops!! I meant, "better late then never" - the former works too).

My favorite by far is (still on page 163 of 1286....sigh..right now I'm staring at the snail, to get some inspiration from it....), the chapter on Iranian political struggles in the chapter "the carpet weavers". I have great admiration for the Iranian tenacity, not so much for the Islamic ideology though. Fisk pointed out how tenacious these Iranians were in putting back together the shredded papers seized from the American Embassy in Iran during the Khomeini Revolution, as they were weaving their authentic carpets. The former took them 6 years of numerous people working 6 days a week whilst the latter up to 10 years with the same capacity of people and time. 10 years of weaving one carpet...imagine that...most of us can't even stomach looking at face of the same spouse for 10 years, imagine staring at the same carpet everyday for 10 years!!!! Come to think of it, at least the carpet don't talk back...and of course, that is a totally different chapter altogether...

Back to the carpet weavers, Iranian people are known for their patience in achieving something, and therefore, anyone who are used to their culture, would not be surprised that it took them that long to topple the Shahs of Iran. Khomeini did it from outside of Iran. I will not talk about the hypocrisy of the US via the CIA, their role in toppling Mossadeq, a people elected Prime Minister (1951-53), in an act that is against the world preached democracy (when it suits their interest) because it is no longer news-worthy. The thing that bothers me is what happens after the revolution. It seems to me, that the Mullas act no differently then the people they worked hard to topple. Many "enemies" were prosecuted without a chance of a proper trial. The fate of the the people charged were at the hands of a bunch of Mullas who acted as judges. Seems that no one had escaped the death sentence once they were put on "trial".

Then my eyes was feasted upon a more mind boggling statement made by Sadegh Khalkhali, former Chief Justice of the Revolutionary Court, or more intimately known as "The Hanging Judge", in regards to the stoning sentence executed.

I quote a paragraph from what Fisk had written;

" I don't know if I approve of stoning, " Sadeq Khalkhali said, flashing a grin at us journalists and at a group of startled diplomats who had also been invited to the Qasr prison. 'But in the Koran, it is mentioned that those who commit adultery should be killed by stoning.' The Jojatolislam dug his little spoon into the melting white ice-cream, oblivious to the bare-headed prisoners who trudged past behind him, heaving barrels loaded with cauldrons of vegetable soup. ' We approve of anything the Koran says. What is the difference between killing people with stones and killing them with bullets? But throwing stones certainly teaches people a lesson.' Khalkhali modestly disowned responsibility for the Kerman stoning - his bearded public relations man informed us that a man called Fahin Kermani had taken this weighty decision - but he agreed that he had ordered some fresh executions that morning. Seven men had been lined up at one end of Jamshid gawked from a distance. Many of those who died had been convicted of drug offences, and it was in his role as chief of the Iranian anti - narcotics squad that the Hojatolislam had welcomed us to Qasr prison to view his latest haul of contraband. "

For starters, the word "I don't know if I approve of stoning" simply states that Khalkhali doubts God. I mean, who was he to approve or disapprove God's orders, assuming for a second that stoning to death is indeed God's order. But see, THAT's where the problem lies. Stoning to death is NOT stated anywhere in the Quran. Claiming it is, and getting away with it is really alarming!!

Then there's the statement; "What is the difference between killing people with stones and killing them with bullets. But throwing stones certainly teaches people a lesson." . I wonder if he learned his, just before he blew his last breath, most likely a slow and painful death, as that is what cancer does.

It is not just people like Khalkhali, who prided himself to be a man of God, it is infested in most human who had the first taste of power. Power given to people with a lot of hate and destructive virtue within their soul, results in massive lost of human lives. It is disturbing to witness how the sanctity of a human's life was not taken into consideration.

Have the humans really evolved at all? We pride ourselves as being "civilized" when all there really is, is history of human cruelty repeating itself over and over. The difference is just the method of killing and the excuses to do so. Those days people kill with bare hands, stick and stones. Now, we just dispense drones to do our job and call it high technology. If there's anything, it is the machines that have evolved, not so much of us so called humans. We get upset when we are categorized as animal kingdom, but truth is, that's what we are. Shameless creatures of destruction, crawling on the surface of the earth, causing massive destruction to our own species not to mention to the other animal kingdoms.

The only possible way any human may earn the title, is to do without killing. I agree that war should be criminalized. If we claim that we are "civilized", then we should be able to come up with better solutions than killing each other with super sleek excuses to justify our conscience.

I love the way George Carlin strip the facts to naked bare, and of course with a splash of humor to go with it. Frankly, I agree, here is what war is all about;



Dick-waving...that's what Nationalism and war is all about.......imagine the killing without the "Medal of Honor" to go along with it..well, those souldiers who killed won't be called a hero, instead, a "hit man". What you are to the world is who you choose to work with, and what terminology they give you. You won't be called a terrorist if you have the mainstream mass media at your hands to aid propaganda, even though you terrorize a country to get whatever agenda it is hiding behind the projected purposes....ironically, it had most of the time been oil and drugs. What difference is a nation who use killing to solve the killings? In what way is your taking away lives seem better than them taking away lives? The end product would still remain that the innocent people dies....How can you put on a poker face and tell the world that your killing is justified. More importantly, why should the human beings justify killing at all?

In the case of "The White Revolution", the "winning party" started lining up humans and shot them to death without a fair trial. They rounded up fornicators, adulterers, people who allegedly sell drugs without proper judicial process and just took their lives away with a simple gesture of pulling a trigger. How does that make them any better than the people they claimed to have been corrupted and cruel and needed to be toppled. They became the very people they displaced for whatever reason used to justify those killings. It is clear to us now, that power changes people's rationale, most of the time, we fail as human beings when power is at our hands. It could happen to you and me.

The most successful excuse to wage wars would be, Religion, Ideologies and Racism.

Well then, I guess we as a human being have the responsibility to ensure nobility of human kind begins from the man in the mirror and at home should we choose to procreate. The kids we put to this earth will grow up and be let loose into society are those who will be running the system in the future. We breed assholes, assholes are the ones who will take over the world. So remember, people who have no sense of humility, humanity, sense of duty and civics, have no business breeding.....think about that...

Recoloring May 13th

Recoloring 13th May. An interesting concept I must say. But how do we do that? Or more important questions to answer, are we willing to do that, and if we are, are we able to do so? My mind when running on a limited range mode would immediately think about my car. I recolor it back to it's original tone of red, simply by washing off the filth covering it after perhaps two months of collection, masking it into a somewhat a blushing grey, if such color terminology exists (well, it's grey from the filth and looks like it's blushing because of the underlying red). When people ask me "where did you park your car? what color is it?", when trying to help me locate my car at the parking lot, my answer would be, "it's red when it's washed". Now, that's another method of "recoloring". If only in real life, it is that simple.

Thinking in brevity, recoloring reminds me of my hair. No matter how frequent I color it, the hair will resume growing a base of my original hair color. And although I sometimes would like to think that it's blond (because Blondie gets the guys apparently), it's pit black, as black as an angry bull's eye in an arena, standing on it's four feet, proudly embracing the moment of victory(well, occasionally, the matador looses). I guess coloring is an ongoing process.

When I first move into my house, I painted the walls all by myself, every single one of them. There was this small wall that I painted black, mainly to allow my kid to write whatever she wants on it, because, ultimately, she will on any surface she could gets her hands on. I suddenly recalled that she actually did. She drew this very extensively long, and I mean long snake, on the side wall from the top of one stairs to the end of it, made me wonder if vandalism is hereditary, but that is a different story. When asked why she did what she did,(she was then 5 years old , but trust me when I say kids have their own reasoning to their actions, most of the time it's hilarious, if adults care to indulge in the negotiation), here was the answer I got, "I wanted to draw the most beautiful longest snake for you, but the paper is too small". I broke into laughter instead, ironing out my frown, which is more than what I can say to laughing at Malaysian politics. Ah, but again, I digress.

Back to the black wall. How do you recolor a black wall into something less Gothic? It's not easy. It takes a lot of patience, hard work and tenacity. First, you have got coat the primer, most of the time, if the background color is black, you need a few coats to cover the dark tone. Only then you are able to paint any other color without dampening it. Even then, you may never get the exact tone you have in mind upon completing the task.

But here's the good news. It is a possible task, it just takes a lot of effort and the strong will that can achieve even the impossible. Just like May 13th, a black history in Malaysian society, we may never be able to forget it at all because, you can easily forget the birthday of your loved ones, with the exception of your girlfriend or your wife of course (try forgetting it ONCE, and trust me, you will never ever forget it again), albeit it doesn't mean you don't love them; you may forget to lock your car door, but you can never forget death. You will be able to live with it, even forgive the dead or the person responsible for it, but your never forget. It's something we just don't. But in remembering the dead, one must not forget the living. Perhaps in death that we learn of living. We will constantly be reminded of how vulnerable life is, how short it is to just fill it with hatred.


My husband is dead, and all the wrongs he did was silently forgiven, even though not forgotten, because to forget is not to learn from the whole experience. I forgave the person who drove recklessly and rammed into his car that night. Hating him will not bring back my husband, it'll only consume me. Life is too short to not fill it with love. And if anything I have learned in life, it is that the humans do what humans do, we err. The biggest mistake is not in making them, but to not learn from them and it reflects in our future actions, or in some cases, inaction. Perhaps, in the human context, forgiving marks the dawn of recoloring.

Death is a certainty. Grieving is a process necessary to undergo, for grieving allows the unseen wounds of the heart to heal. One needs to grieve in order to be able to move forward in life still insidiously injured. Needless to say, just like it's necessary to go through the grieving process, one needs to get out of it sometime or the other, for grieving too long is not healthy. One needs to be happy again at some point.


Yes, let me be redundant by stating that recoloring the walls takes amongst others; patience, hard work and tenacity, just like recoloring one's life. But in recoloring one's life, most of all, it takes mental and emotional WILL laced with sincerity, (a fast dying human trait if I may add, but excuse me for being pessimistic, or should I say pest-y-mistic). Because, unlike the wall, memory of a tragedy will never go away by just repainting over it with numerous coat of primers then proceed to other bright and cheerful colors, because your mind cannot be as easily deceived as your eyes.

Mental tragedy stays there like a splinter in one's mind. The splinter is there for a reason, it serves as a reminder. However, the best gift God has ever given the human is the gift of choice. We can choose what we want to do with the splinter. We can choose to be destructive with it ergo instigating a cascade of detrimental reactions, (which is basically like throwing a boomerang and hope that it'll not come back to hit us on the head) , we can choose take it out or learn to live with it, and learn from the mistake that led the splinter to be there in the first place, then make a change for betterment of humankind as a whole. Humanity is the better religion, turned out.


May 13th happened and it was real unlike Samy velo's hair or Rosimah's face (alah...Rosimah my second cousin, married to my adopted brother in law). And although it is easier to look back in hatred, it is more beneficial to look forward and for the sake of our children's future, we need to swallow our pride, and instead, look forward to remedy the pain, together. It is difficult, but it is possible, and I'm referring to the "swallowing our pride" bit.


It's high time we Malaysians move forward together, to a more harmonious resulting choices. We all know deep down in our hearts, that "racism" and "religion" are the best tools for governance by politicians and a group of ruling oligarchies. The only way to leave this world, leaving a harmonious Malaysia to our children would be to send them a message that "enough is enough" and we are not going to fall for that trick ever again. But this requires unity in it's true sense.

Just like quitting smoking, where no amount of nicotine will surmount to it's success in overcoming the nicotine addiction, but instead the will to quit the reckless and irresponsible habit itself, unity is what we, each individuals decide in our hearts with utmost sincerity. Without the sincerity and the will to unite, no amount of effort will suffice. Unity starts at home, it starts with what we pass down to our children. Then it continues with the people surrounding our lives. Unity, begins with us, as individuals. Only when we believe, that we are able to pass it down effectively to the next generation. Don't you think that they will live better lives in the future without us putting the ideas of racism into them?


The finishing touch of recoloring our lives in the future is similar to that of recoloring the black wall. At the end of the day, the bigger picture we painted stares back at us. By looking at the wall just repainted, we know the amount of effort armed with good intentions, plunged into turning the black wall into a color more cheerful not to mention less Gothic. And that itself, is a picture of beauty, more for the mind rather than what the eyes can perceive. Just like the wall, we can restructure our thinking, our mind, our attitude by seeking beauty off the newly painted wall, even though we know the underlying color is still black, knowing that we had tried our best to make the black wall turn out as beautiful as possible, or at least die trying...in reference to may 13, now that to me is Recoloring it.....

Islamic cleric however were not interested to comment because they are still struggling to agree on the methods of caning the women...err..the human women. Unless of course we are talking about aliens driving their spacecraft under the influence of alcohol, (with the exception of the tapai), or fornicating/adultering aliens, then one can hope that there will be such comments from these clerics. I wonder if whipping have any physical effect on aliens, or alcohol for that matter...if alcohol doesn't make an alien "intoxicated" then would the whipping fartwa stands?

Back to the aliens harming us, I am pretty sure though, that it is us the humans who have the anti-Midas touch...and therefore be avoided like the plague....we hurt just about everything we "touch" in this universe and especially to each other, we make the News business a great business.

I must say this alien topic has been around longer than Barisan National, and it intrigues us all to know whether there are other species out there worth killing apart from our own species. It's the majority of humans going, "Hmm....what else is there to destroy"...

Anyway, I for one am not arrogant to think that we, the human sodding species are the only intelligent beings God had created. I don't know about intelligence, but it's more like God's failed experiment, the universe is trying to get rid of. Why, haven't you notice the increase occurrences of earth quakes, followed by the tsunami, then the volcanic eruptions? Doesn't that sound like the earth is trying to keep the population in check? It's nothing personal really, it's just how nature works.

Nevertheless, won't it be cool to have an alien as a pet? I can just teach It to play tricks like abduct my in laws or my boss, or something more meaningful like abduct religionists and corrupted politicians.... When I was younger and have the curiosity that could have killed me instead of the cat, I often stare up the clear night sky and wonder about a lot of things that especially religion cannot answer, but of course that is another topic all together. Gazing at the vast sky that made me feel like an infinity speck of nothingness, awed by it's beauty and the secret it holds, sometimes, I wonder about other intelligent beings out there......
